The 3300 Electric Directional Gyro

Mechanical gyros still serve an important role in many aircraft. Electric gyros offer far greater reliability and service life compared to vacuum gyros.

Advanced circuitry and improved design allow these directional gyros to withstand high vibration and require less than half the power of standard directional gyros. Lightweight (1.8 lbs.) and reliable, these units utilize long-life LEDs for a crisp, legible backlit display, and with 10–32 volt DC input, they will work in any aircraft. Exceptional RTCA DO-160E HIRF immunity makes this an ideal replacement for heavy, older AIM and RC Allen units.
